Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Data Ingestion to lead a team of Data and Software Engineers focused on data ingestion and processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Data and Software Engineers to ingest, catalog, and preprocess data
• Mentor and promote the professional growth of team members while participating in code reviews
• Collaborate with Project Management to execute large-scale projects and improve engineering processes

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of total engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a Data Engineering leadership role
• Previous experience solving similar problems as an individual contributor
• Experience with agile project management and leading sprint planning
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers
