Data Integration Engineer

Job Summary

As a remote Data Integration Engineer, the successful candidate will manage data ingestion processes, collaborate with data scientists, and improve data models and pipelines using SQL, dbt, and Python in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Support the ingestion of various healthcare-related data sources by configuring new ingestions and debugging ongoing issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into clear mapping and validation logic
• Utilize tools like Dagster and GitHub Actions to orchestrate data pipelines and monitor their performance

Required qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with dbt
• Working knowledge of Python for data investigation in notebooks
• Experience operating and debugging data pipelines
• Proven ability to write and maintain tests for data quality
• Willingness to learn new domains and tools quickly
