Data Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Integration Engineer will design, develop, and enhance enterprise data integration and database platform technologies while ensuring security and operational reliability during U.S. Central Time core business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and enhance enterprise data integration and database platform technologies
• Evaluate advanced capabilities and provide technical recommendations for long-term technology strategy and architecture
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, platform standardization, and architectural enhancement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, BASH shell, KSH, and JavaScript
• Experience with networking and firewall configurations, Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems, and full lifecycle development
• Experience protecting confidential database content and incorporating security requirements into technical decisions
• Familiarity with database security, data protection, and end-to-end testing
