Data & Integrations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data & Integrations Engineer to develop integration workflows for data exchange between systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify functional requirements that drive data architecture and technology decisions for major hospital system implementations
• Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable integration solutions, including APIs and ELT jobs
• Serve as a subject matter expert in EHR interoperability and mentor Integration/ETL Engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 8+ years of experience in building integration services
• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting SOAP/REST APIs
• 4+ years of experience with cloud-native services such as AWS API Gateway, SQS, and Lambda
• Proficiency with at least two scripting languages, preferably Python
• Sound knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7 and FHIR
