Data Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Integrity Specialist-HIM to maintain the integrity of electronic health records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Corrects and resolves documentation issues within clinical systems to maintain accurate health records
• Facilitates the correction process by coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring timely resolutions
• Acts as a liaison to communicate and verify corrections between patients, clinicians, and staff

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; advanced degree preferred
• RHIT credential (or eligible) preferred
• 2 or more years of experience in acute hospital patient record integrity positions
• Proven track record in HIM operations and chart correction processes
• Successful completion of a basic Medical terminology course required
