Data Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

A healthcare company is hiring a Data Integrity Specialist in the Health Information Management industry.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain the integrity of the content of the Epic electronic health record
• Analyze chart correction scenarios and perform subsequent hands-on technical chart corrections
• Coordinate parties and interdisciplinary teams involved in each case to ensure all necessary corrections are made in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required, advanced degree preferred
• 2 or more years of acute hospital patient record integrity positions required
• Successful completion of basic Medical terminology course required
• Knowledge of healthcare information systems, and Revenue Cycle applications, preferably Epic
• RHIT credential (or eligible) preferred
