Data Licensing Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data Licensing & Operations Manager will manage the end-to-end operational oversight of third-party data procurement, contract administration, and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance and optimizing data usage across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with practice leaders to evaluate data needs and translate business requirements into procurement specifications
• Oversee the procurement lifecycle for third-party data assets, including vendor evaluations and contract negotiations
• Manage relationships with data vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conducting performance reviews

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or data operations, preferably in a professional services or healthcare data environment
• Bachelor's degree in business, information management, healthcare administration, or a related field
• Experience negotiating data licensing agreements and familiarity with contract terms related to data use rights
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
• Familiarity with healthcare data types and regulatory constraints, such as HIPAA
