Data Loss Prevention Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Loss Prevention Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise data protection solutions across Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments
• Develop and tune DLP rules and manage sensitivity labels and encryption across the organization
• Investigate DLP incidents and maintain dashboards to track policy effectiveness and user behavior trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2+ years focused on data protection and DLP engineering
• At least one relevant certification, such as Microsoft Certified Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400) or Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Purview Information Protection/DLP and Microsoft 365 E5 Security
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
