Data Loss Prevention Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Loss Prevention Specialist to mitigate information security risks and protect sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and validate DLP-related security incidents
• Improve DLP policies and processes to reduce false positives
• Provide actionable insights to strengthen data protection and insider risk posture

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with five years of related work experience, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of related work experience
• Experience in information security, data protection, or IT support roles
• Knowledge of security tools such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Splunk
• Familiarity with data classification methodologies, including PII, PHI, and PCI data
• Ability to use spreadsheet and data analysis tools for analysis and report creation
