Data Management and Analytics Specialist

Job Summary

To support the VHA Specialty Care Program Office, the full-time Data Management and Analytics Support Specialist will extract, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare data from various VHA systems to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Access and extract data from VHA enterprise systems to support programmatic reporting and analysis
• Develop advanced models and algorithms to identify data patterns for decision-making and forecasting
• Design and present clear data visualizations and analytical findings to program managers and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data management or analytics, preferably in healthcare or federal programs
• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related discipline; Master's Degree preferred
• In-depth knowledge of VHA enterprise systems and files
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing advanced data models and presenting insights to non-technical audiences
