Data Management Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Summary

Providing strategic and tactical pre-sales leadership, the remote Consulting Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for Data Management will deliver technical expertise throughout the customer journey, including solution design, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept execution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor and trusted partner to enterprise customers and channel partners during the sales process
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments and translate requirements into scalable solution recommendations
• Design and manage Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, ensuring successful technical validation and customer adoption

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture roles
• Experience with enterprise cybersecurity, storage, networking, or cloud solutions
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity concepts, and current storage infrastructures
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
