Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Management Specialist to manage aeDNA data within the Neotoma Paleoecology Database.

Key Responsibilities

• Solicit, curate, and upload aeDNA data into the Neotoma Paleoecology Database, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Maintain documentation and publish submission protocols on protocols.io in alignment with project objectives
• Guide stakeholders and resolve complex data submissions using knowledge of geosciences and ecology

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Three years of related experience in data management
• Strong understanding of the Neotoma Paleoecology Database schema
• Foundational knowledge in geosciences and ecology
• Ability to travel and attend on-site meetings as needed
