Data Manager II
Job Summary
To support the NHSN Dialysis Event module within the Dialysis program, the full-time remote Data Manager II will manage data quality initiatives, provide technical assistance to dialysis providers, and conduct user education and outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and user support for the NHSN Dialysis Event module, including conducting outreach and education
- Develop and launch NHSN data validation projects to enhance data quality and usability for prevention efforts
- Prepare and present educational trainings and materials related to NHSN and infection prevention to various stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in public health data analysis and data manipulation
- Basic proficiency with Excel and databases; familiarity with SQL or data-management systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
