Data Migration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Migration Engineer to lead and execute the migration of ITSM data from BMC Remedy to Jira Service Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the end-to-end data migration from BMC Remedy to Jira
• Analyze and extract data from Remedy's backend using SQL or API access
• Maintain a deep understanding of ITSM platforms, specifically BMC Remedy and Jira Service Management

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data migration from legacy ITSM systems to modern platforms
• Demonstrable expertise in BMC Remedy administration and data structures
• Strong proficiency in Jira Service Management configuration and administration
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, including advanced querying and scripting
• Experience working with government clients and understanding public sector IT projects
