Data Migration Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on delivering high-quality data migrations, the full-time remote Data Migration Engineer will design and execute complex ETL processes, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure data fidelity during customer transitions.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and execute SQL-based ETL processes to migrate legacy public safety data into the Mark43 platform
- Collaborate with data migration contractors and internal teams to review technical deliverables and improve migration tooling
- Translate legacy data structures into new schemas while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in data migration, ETL development, or SQL development roles
- Deep understanding of SQL and relational database design
- Demonstrated experience writing complex SQL scripts
- Ability to analyze and translate legacy data models into new schemas
- Interest in public safety data and its impact on customer success
