Data Migration Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Migration Manager to oversee end-to-end data migrations for clients transitioning to their platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the migration of customer data from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to facilitate smooth data migration and onboarding
• Define and document data migration strategies, workflows, and best practices while ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data migration, data engineering, or a related field, preferably in FinTech or SaaS
• Expertise in SQL-based data manipulation (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, CSVs, Excel)
• Proficiency in Python (Django), Ruby, or Ruby on Rails for scripting and data processing
• Strong understanding of ETL workflows, data architecture, and database management
• Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance standards
