Data Migration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Migration Specialist (Teradata to GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map existing Teradata workloads to GCP services, rewriting SQL logic and scripts as needed
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to define migration strategies and ensure data quality
• Develop automated workflows for data movement and optimize cloud storage and query performance

Required Qualifications

• 4 to 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 2 years in GCP
• Strong hands-on experience with Teradata data warehousing and complex SQL
• Solid knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using custom scripting tools (Python/Java)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GIT, and DevOps practices in cloud environments
