Data Migration Specialist
Job Summary
Executing the end-to-end data migration process for SMB Petcare customers, the full-time remote Data Migration Specialist will manage client data intake, perform data cleaning and transformation, and oversee data extraction and migration execution while ensuring data integrity throughout onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and assess client-provided data files for quality and completeness, identifying gaps and inconsistencies
- Organize and clean raw data using advanced Excel functions and basic SQL queries to meet migration tool requirements
- Execute data imports into client applications, validating results and troubleshooting any issues that arise
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and Power Query
- Familiarity with data formats such as CSV and Excel
- Experience with structured data assessment and transformation processes
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent data migrations
- Basic SQL knowledge for querying and extracting data from databases is preferred
