Data Migration Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data Migration Specialist will manage the extraction, transfer, and reconciliation of data from legacy systems to LEAP, ensuring accurate migrations and client communication throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with implementation coordinators and clients to provide updates on data migration progress
- Execute timely and accurate migrations of data, including reconciliation of accounting information
- Create and maintain documentation, while conducting QA testing on transition software
Required qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in MS SQL Server, including writing queries and scripts
- Hands-on experience with ETL methodologies and script automation in Python or PowerShell
- Expertise in Excel for schema validation and data cleanup
- Working knowledge of legal trust/client and office accounting
- Experience with legal practice management systems is desirable
