Data Migration Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Data Migration Specialist will manage customer data transitions into Commerce7 by analyzing, preparing, and executing data migrations while ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the successful execution of customer data migrations, ensuring projects are completed accurately and within established timelines
- Analyze customer datasets to identify inconsistencies and migration risks, applying appropriate data cleanup techniques
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve migration challenges and support successful onboarding outcomes
Required qualifications:
- Strong understanding of scripting concepts and programming fundamentals, with experience or exposure to JavaScript/Node.js preferred
- Experience working with technical tools or scripts to automate tasks and manipulate data
- Familiarity with APIs and structured data analysis
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
- 2+ years of experience in data migration, implementation, or related technical roles
