Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Modeler to support large information technology projects in the utility sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CIM-based logical and physical data models aligned to IEC standards
- Create and manage CIM Profiles tailored to utility use cases and ensure semantic consistency across systems
- Support data governance activities and assist with data-quality rule definition and semantic validation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with IEC CIM (61970, 61968, and/or 62325)
- Strong understanding of electric utility operations and experience with logical and physical data modeling techniques
- Familiarity with UML, relational modeling, and semantic modeling concepts
- Experience supporting utility data lakes or analytics platforms (AWS, Databricks)
