Data Modeler

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Modeler to design and implement data models for a multi-site warehouse intelligence platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design a canonical data model that normalizes data from multiple WMS systems into a unified domain layer
• Create the bronze/silver/gold data layer architecture, including raw CDC events and aggregated datasets for reporting
• Optimize table designs for analytics queries and build dimensional models for embedded analytics and reporting

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in data modeling roles, including logical, physical, dimensional, and domain modeling
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake, including data engineering and data warehousing
• Strong understanding of supply chain/logistics/warehousing domain knowledge
• Expertise in SQL, including advanced query design and performance tuning
• Experience with cloud data platforms, specifically GCP or equivalent AWS/Azure
