Job Summary

To support the Veterans Health Administration's modernization initiatives, the full-time remote Data Modeler will design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the VFMP Modernization Portfolio
• Produce comprehensive database design documentation, including entity relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams
• Collaborate with application development and systems engineering teams to ensure data models support high-volume business operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of four (4) years of federal healthcare work experience, with practical field experience in the last year
• Experience in data modeling methodologies, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
• Previous experience with VHA or other Federal healthcare information systems and modernization initiatives
