Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Modeler will design and govern data architecture for unstructured knowledge assets, translating raw content into secure data products within Databricks Unity Catalog.

Key Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical data models for unstructured and semi-structured content originating from Knowledge Management pipelines
• Establish metadata standards and tagging taxonomies to ensure consistent classification across knowledge sources
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to align data product design with downstream consumption needs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or information architecture with exposure to unstructured or semi-structured data
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
• Practical knowledge of metadata management, including tagging schemas and taxonomies
• Experience partnering with data engineering teams on ingestion and pipeline design
• Understanding of data security/sensitivity classification frameworks
