Data Modeling Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on Cribl ingestion, the remote Data Modeling Engineer will design, implement, and maintain data modeling for log ingestion in large-scale security environments on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data modeling using Cribl for log ingestion
• Maintain and support enterprise security tools and systems
• Develop automation and integrations using scripting languages like Python and Bash

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with CRIBL Data Modeling and log pipeline design
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and engineering principles
• Experience with enterprise security tools such as SIEM and XDR
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices and threat detection strategies
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems, including security configuration
