Data Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Operations Engineer to enhance their data environment and ensure reliability and performance in their Snowflake Business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the execution and monitoring of data pipelines from the Data Engineering Iceberg warehouse into the Snowflake Business environment
• Architect and build a high-quality staging layer in Snowflake, implementing robust data validation and cleaning processes
• Manage Snowflake schemas, roles, and warehouse configurations while ensuring data security and high availability

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and managing Snowflake environments
• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a proven track record of stabilizing complex data environments
• Expert-level SQL proficiency and deep experience with dbt
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Ability to navigate raw ingestion and table formats while addressing business-critical analytics needs
