Data Operations Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Operations Team Lead to manage a team of DBAs and Sr. DBAs in a high-volume federal application environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead administration and optimization of SQL Server environments across hybrid AWS and Azure platforms
• Direct database monitoring, incident response, ETL operations, and database DevSecOps automation
• Oversee delivery of SOPs, performance dashboards, optimization recommendations, and cloud migration strategies

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise DBA experience
• 2+ years proven leadership experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD database deployments and automation
• Strong expertise with AWS-native database services (RDS, Aurora), SSIS/SSRS, and SQL performance tuning
