Data Platform Administrator
Job Summary
Leading the administration and operational support of enterprise data platforms, the full-time remote Data Platform Administrator will manage Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and related Azure services while ensuring platform reliability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, governance, and operational support of enterprise data platforms
- Oversee Change Management and Release Management processes, ensuring deployment planning and post-release validation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during critical production incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive corrective actions
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, platform engineering, or data operations
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure data platforms in production environments
- Proven experience as a Data Platform Administrator or similar role with a focus on operational excellence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of ITIL-aligned operational processes, including Incident and Change Management
