Data Platform Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Data Platform Architect will provide hands-on expertise in designing and architecting transactional solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer adoption and successful execution of Snowflake's solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Convey the strategic advantages of Snowflake Postgres capabilities and address client inquiries to facilitate sales progression
• Articulate Snowflake's Postgres functionalities and provide comparative analyses with competitor offerings for prospective clients
• Develop and deliver tailored demonstrations that highlight Snowflake's value proposition regarding transactional functionalities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of Postgres architecture experience
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields preferred
• Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Knowledge of OLTP database technology (e.g., Snowflake, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Familiarity with indexing strategies for transactional workloads
