Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Data Platform Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Evolve the core data stack to meet the scale and latency demands of AI workloads
- Define and implement observability, lineage, and access standards for data products and AI applications
- Support critical data pipelines while creating abstractions that simplify end-user interactions
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building cloud-scale data infrastructure or ML platforms
- Experience with AI-focused systems such as LLM APIs, RAG/GraphRAG, and vector search
- Hands-on experience with Spark, SQL, and Python and/or Scala
- Understanding of streaming systems like Kafka or Flink for real-time insights
- Experience with orchestration systems, CI/CD, and production monitoring
