Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data cloud infrastructure and cost optimization efforts
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to identify and resolve security gaps
• Monitor incidents, investigate root causes, and develop standard operating procedures in line with best practices

Required Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, data engineering, or a related role
• Solid understanding of cloud principles and services, preferably AWS
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and data tools like Databricks and Snowflake
• General understanding of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Working knowledge of cost optimization related to SaaS spend
