Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fivetran HVR Data Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade HVR software across source and target systems
• Establish and manage data source connections and configure replication channels
• Optimize performance and ensure operational health of HVR agents

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with HVR (or Fivetran HVR)
• Proficiency in database technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
• Ability to develop strategies for high-volume data replication and log-based Change Data Capture (CDC)
