Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, improve, and extend the data infrastructure
• Support engineering teams in enhancing the performance of reports and data services
• Optimize databases for performance and scalability, and automate infrastructure management

Required Qualifications

• Experience with data storage and processing systems, including relational databases and data warehouses
• Familiarity with stream processing tools like Kafka or Kinesis
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP data processing infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Proficiency in improving data infrastructure using Python, Airflow, Redshift, and dbt
• Experience with the AWS data ecosystem is highly appreciated
