Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Platform Engineer to design and evolve data platforms for analytics and AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the data platform using Snowflake, DBT, Sigma, and AWS for performance and scalability
• Guide integration of machine learning and generative AI into data pipelines and analytics workflows
• Collaborate with various teams to implement new business initiatives related to data and analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ten years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or advanced analytics
• Experience defining high-level data architecture or technical vision for large projects preferred
• Strong proficiency in AI/ML tools and frameworks, including Python and AWS services
• Deep understanding of analytics platforms and data modeling principles
