Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Platform Engineer (Staff / Sr Staff).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data cataloging infrastructure for data discovery and understanding
• Build lineage capabilities to trace data provenance and flow through systems
• Create self-serve tooling to facilitate easy access to data for teams

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with modern data stack components such as Databricks or Spark
• Familiarity with data cataloging and lineage tools
• Experience with orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow
