Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to build and operate a modern cloud-native data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion pipelines using AWS-native tools
• Operate and improve core data platform services to ensure reliability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard data pipelines and troubleshoot issues

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data platform, data engineering, or platform engineering roles
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based data tooling
• Familiarity with distributed data processing concepts, such as Spark
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, or Scala preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, or operating production systems
