Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and implementing scalable cloud-based data platforms, the full-time Data Platform Engineer will develop data pipelines, support enterprise reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and develops data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into the enterprise data ecosystem
• Implements and supports modern data platform architectures and integration patterns, ensuring reliability and performance
• Collaborates with analytics teams and stakeholders to optimize platform efficiencies and troubleshoot data quality issues

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and supporting enterprise data platforms, preferably in financial services
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse and Power BI integration
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data processing technologies
• Experience with Azure and AWS services relevant to data integration and cloud solutions
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
