Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the delivery of modern data platforms, the full-time remote Data Platform Engineer will design and deploy solutions in Azure Databricks, build scalable data pipelines, and lead customer implementations while ensuring successful deployment and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy modern data platforms in Azure Databricks, including environment setup and infrastructure optimization
• Build scalable data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions using Python, SQL, and orchestration across Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
• Lead customer implementations and technical delivery, supporting new deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting in Azure environments

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL
• Solid foundation in database concepts and data modeling, with experience in structured and semi-structured datasets
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration, including API-based data pipelines
• Comfortable working in customer-facing or consulting environments
• Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts
