Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Curious and technically strong, the full-time remote Data Platform Engineer will manage infrastructure health, improve automation and tooling, and support data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure and pipelines to ensure reliability and performance
• Build and deploy infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, and CI/CD workflows while ensuring safe changes
• Develop automation scripts in Python and improve tooling to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider, including IAM and networking
• Proficiency in Python for automation and internal tooling
• Familiarity with Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool
• Good working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments
