Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced Data Platform Engineers with deep Databricks and Unity Catalog expertise will find a full-time remote opportunity focused on building resilient and scalable data foundations, managing data governance, access control, and data quality for modern lakehouse platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own data governance within Databricks through Unity Catalog, including access control and data quality management
• Design and implement security models and maintain data quality frameworks within the platform
• Partner with data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive governance across the data platform

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog
• Demonstrated experience building governance frameworks for access control, data quality, and metadata management
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline development
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience with Delta Lake architecture preferred
