Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the optimization of data architecture, the full-time Data Platform Engineer will build and maintain scalable data pipelines, implement enterprise search capabilities, and ensure data security within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data within the Data Foundry project
• Optimize search-centric data pipelines to enhance enterprise search functionality and performance
• Implement data security measures, including Row-Level Security and compliance with governance policies

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software or data engineering experience in an enterprise cloud environment (GCP preferred)
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, or Scala
• Experience with data access controls, encryption, and managing secure API endpoints
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, Astronomer/Airflow, and data governance tools like Google Dataplex
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams in AI, Infrastructure, and Security
