Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support data migration efforts, the full-time remote Data Platform Engineer Merger & Migration will execute data asset transfers, update data pipelines, and set up new workspaces while ensuring zero data loss during the migration process.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the migration of data assets, schemas, tables, and notebooks from the source to the target environment
- Update and test data pipelines to align with the new unified architecture
- Utilize Terraform and platform APIs to create new workspaces, clusters, and warehouses according to company standards
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Operations, or Cloud Operations
- Practical administration experience with Databricks or Snowflake
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for scripting and data verification
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Git/CI/CD for deployment pipelines
- Strong troubleshooting skills and collaborative problem-solving abilities
