Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Data Platform Engineer will design, develop, and ship internal platforms to enhance organizational operations across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, utilizing cutting-edge technology to support health initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable platform services for 2,000 users across 35 countries
- Build out and productionize data products, including workflows and reporting systems
- Create reliable and secure AI-enabled systems that are easy for internal teams to adopt
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years of coding experience
- Proven backend and systems engineering skills
- Strong organizational instincts with the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders
- Genuine commitment to global health initiatives in resource-constrained contexts
- Familiarity with tools such as DBT, Superset, Javascript, React, Python, and PostgreSQL
