Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Building clean software abstractions, the full-time Data Platform Engineer will develop modular components and self-service applications that facilitate data integration and processing for analysts and data scientists in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain data integration and processing SDKs for internal services
- Design self-service applications that enable users to manage and troubleshoot their own data pipelines
- Implement tooling for data security and observability, including access controls and data quality tracking
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong backend development skills in Python or Java
- Fluent in SQL for ETL/ELT processes and data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms
- Working knowledge of git, Linux, and Docker
