Job Summary
To build Owner's foundational data platform, the full-time remote Data Platform Engineer will design and implement data systems for analytics, AI, and business intelligence, focusing on ingestion, transformation, storage, and orchestration.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build data systems that support analytics and business intelligence across the company
- Replace custom scripts with reproducible, production-grade data pipelines
- Drive technical decisions and best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience
- Strong fluency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on production experience with Snowflake
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT fundamentals, including dbt and modern orchestrators like Dagster
- Proven impact-driven problem-solving experience in fast-paced environments
