Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Building modular, reusable components, the full-time Data Platform Engineer will develop SDKs and self-service applications to support data integration and processing for teams across the company in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build clean software abstractions to support thousands of data pipelines
- Design and maintain data integration and processing SDKs for internal services
- Create self-service applications for analysts and data scientists to manage their own data pipelines
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong Python or Java backend development skills
- Fluent SQL for ETL/ELT, data quality, and analysis
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data systems
- Working knowledge of git, Linux, and Docker
