Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Building clean software abstractions, the full-time Data Platform Engineer will develop and maintain data integration SDKs and self-service applications for analysts and data scientists, facilitating efficient data processing and analytics in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain modular, reusable components to support scalable data pipelines
- Design self-service applications for data teams to manage and troubleshoot their own data workflows
- Implement tooling for data security, quality tracking, and observability across data systems
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering
- Strong backend development skills in Python or Java
- Proficiency in SQL for ETL/ELT processes and data analysis
