Job Summary

Leading the technical direction of a rapidly scaling data stack, the full-time remote Data Platform Engineering Lead will own the technical roadmap, develop analytics solutions, and mentor a team of engineers while ensuring high standards of data quality and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for the data platform, balancing immediate delivery with long-term scalability
• Develop analytics and data accessibility solutions for internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor and grow a team of analytics engineers and data engineers through technical guidance and career development support

Required qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
• Management experience in building and leading engineering teams
• Extensive experience with production data platforms and technical ownership of major systems
• Proficiency in big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Hive
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
