Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Data Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team focused on foundational capabilities of the Data Platform, including Workouts, Biometrics, and Content
• Translate business strategy into data initiatives while ensuring best practices and fostering team growth
• Design and implement event-driven systems and maintain backend microservices, ensuring reliability and scalability

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, or infrastructure roles
• 4+ years of experience as an application developer using strongly-typed languages such as TypeScript, Java, or Scala
• 1+ years of experience leading teams to deliver impactful business and technical outcomes
• Deep technical expertise in building large-scale data systems and designing data storage platforms
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and event-driven architectures
