Data Platform Lead

Job Summary

Leading the development of a scalable data platform, the full-time Data Platform Lead will manage the data engineering team, drive AI integration, and collaborate across departments to enhance client data solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end data platform strategy, including ingestion architecture and transformation pipelines
• Drive the AI-on-data layer by partnering with the AI engineer to define access and query patterns for platform data
• Lead and develop the data engineering team, setting technical direction and engineering standards for scalability and quality

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing and developing engineers
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake and dbt
• Proven experience in building AI on structured data semantic layers and data ingestion at scale
• Experience in productizing multi-tenant data offerings with client isolation and onboarding flows
• Solid engineering fundamentals, including CI/CD, version control, and infra-as-code practices
